About Xtra Ottawa

Founded in 1993, Xtra is the largest and most widely read gay and lesbian publication in the National Capital Region. Xtra also publishes Index, Ottawa's gay and lesbian business directory, as well as the Ultimate Pride Guide and the Out In Ottawa gay tourism map.

Xtra is published by Pink Triangle Press, a not-for-profit organization born out of and committed to the struggle of lesbians and gay men for sexual liberation and human fulfillment.

The Press also publishes Xtra.ca, as well as Xtra in Toronto and Vancouver.
