For the past decade we have been focusing on the war on Terrorists overseas throughout the Eastern world in order to protect Canadian values along with Canadian sovereignty here at home. As most people know, we have spent a good amount of money on this war against Terrorists overseas. Money well spent? Who’s to say? We have focused so much of our attention on this war overseas, but what about here, back home on Canadian soil? We have been told about homegrown Terrorists operating within Canadian communities that are planning attacks here at home, waging war against Canadian values. What have our provincial Governments, Municipal Governments and our Federal Governments put in place within our communities that will protect the members of this nation from attacks from within?

Our current Federal Government has turned a blind eye towards radical organizations operating within Canada that are engaging in spreading hatful propaganda against Canadians values. The unfortunate reality is that we have organisations within our borders that share something that is quite dear to many Canadians, which are our freedoms. Unfortunately we have organisations that have established themselves within our communities which use and abuse our freedoms here at home to spread hate towards our free society and its members of this nation. We have been lead to believe that in Canada everyone is “equal under the law,” unfortunately we have these organisations that claim to be “under a different law.” How can this be? Would this imply that these select minorities have been given partial immunity within Canada? We have freedom to a limited extent in Canadian society, and if a normal citizen were to cross that line they would be held to accountability. Most citizens find it disturbing when one hears reports about racially motivated attacks, attacks against members in our community that have different views or different lifestyles, and yet somehow our governments tolerate members in our nation spreading and encouraging these attacks against members in our communities but not holding these people accountable for spreading their hate against whether it be hate towards people of other views or hate towards people with a new age lifestyle. We are not all held to the same standards as we are lead to believe! If this were the case, religious schools and their organizations and their members would be held to the same standers that the rest of Canadians are held to. I have witnessed some of these religious organisations spreading hate against members of other faiths/views as well as against members of the homosexual community. If a teacher at a public school were to spread hateful propaganda against homosexuals or people that have a different view they would lose their job! There is a religious school that comes to mind and principle of this school punishes his students for being openly homosexual and students that engage in other views that are not of these schools views. Everyone has a limited amount of freedom in this country and punishing students that are openly homosexual or may have a view that you consider “threatening,” to your own, and to take upon the task of terrorising the students should be classified as…. well… terrorism. These organisations few as may be, are terrorising students and encouraging hate towards their “rivals” of other faiths. Disturbing is that fact that so little is done (if anything at all) in terms of holding what can only be described as racially motivated homophobic terrorist accountable under our laws.

Some of us have unfortunately felt this reality more than others when it comes to homophobic racially motivated terrorists. We have witnessed in person or on news reports the effects of hate propaganda that has pushed people over the edge in life with suicides along with shooting and other unfortunate situations and the questions are always and will always be the same why, how, what could have been done? If only etc… So many question and no answers. I remember years ago back when I was in school we would have a government agency come by our class and give us a lecture on what to do if your parents are abusing you or someone you know is abusing you. They give out a little phone card with a number and disappear never to be seen again. Canadians are not going to start giving up their freedoms to protect themselves from these racially motivated homophobic terrorist, Canadians are not going to start limiting their freedoms. We need the government to setup closer relations with private organisations such as private schools in order to keep these people in line with Canadian values and to have better relations with the students that are subject to hate propaganda in their schools. No one should be subject to teachers in private schools/any schools spreading hate towards students that may happen to be homosexual or have an interest in another view or way of life. That’s great to have different views different lifestyles as you are able to enjoy these rights in this nation, but to spread hate against others is really disturbing; to have no accountability is quite disturbing. We all know that the Canadian government isn’t going to force private schools to close their doors, so the government in the interest of public safety should establish a better system with better ties to the private school sector for the protection of the students that may be bombarded with hate propaganda towards homosexuals and other members of society. We all know that people have the right to believe what they so choose, but they do not have the right to wage a race war on Canadian soil nor do they have the right to wage war on students that happen to be homosexual! Private schools do not have enough government over sight, and this is a serious problem that is contributing to a racially motivated religious based homophobic terrorism here at home.
