Cirque du Soleil’s
Amaluna
, directed by Diane Paulus, has a heavier plot-line than other Cirque shows, but its mesmerizing visual feats remain centre stage.
“It’s a visual feast for anyone to come and see this show,” says artistic director Mark Pawsey.
Although the show is being called “a tribute to the work and voice of women,” one of the more delightful attractions is the hard-bodied male lead, Edouard Doye, featured in the video below.
Amaluna
opens in Vancouver on Nov 23 and runs until Jan 13, 2013.
