Sandra Bernhard is in Toronto for the Canadian Music Week Comedy Fest. The New York-based comedian is headlining March 22 at the Winter Garden Theatre with her new show, I Love Being Me, Don't You?

“The new show takes on some of my usual suspects: fame, excess, desire, need," says Bernhard. "And it goes into new areas because I'm the mother of a 14-and-a-half-year-old daughter, so there's some funny, ironic, interesting stuff about her."

Bernhard, who also is hosting the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards at Kool Haus on March 21, claims to know Canadian music.

But does she?

In the interview below, Bernhard talks about her upcoming show and takes our Canadian music pop quiz. Watch xtra.ca next week for clips from her show and more from our interview with her.

Sandra Bernhard will perform at Canadian Comedy Festival March 22.
