James Franco touched down at the
Toronto International Film Festival
this weekend. He is in town to promote his soon-to-be-released film,
Spring Breakers
.
The film doesn't have a lot of queer content, but Franco is a favourite among gay men for his work in the Allen Ginsberg biopic,
Howl.
Franco also starred in Milk, as well as
last year’s
Memories of Idaho,
a meditation on Gus Van Sant’s
My Own Private Idaho
, a seminal gay flick.
And, of course, Franco's good looks can't be ignored.
Below are a few snippets of Franco and
Spring Breakers
co-star Selena Gomez on the red carpet.
TIFF
runs until Sept 16. Stay tuned to xtra.ca for more coverage over the coming days.
