Description
Internationally acclaimed Toronto-based dance company tiger princess dance projects will premiere its newest creations at the Citadel Theatre in MARCH 2012. Two world premieres to enchant your night with movement, voice and musicality! The two pieces, although distinct, are complimentary, one informing the other: Frequency is a voyage through diversity, a study of tensions among a group of individuals coming from a separate social stratum – a journey translated into movement, musicality and voice; and the solo work arises from developed ideas that existed beyond Frequency’s concept, but still resonated with Yvonne Ng – once revisited, these themes lead to a solo work. “individualistic, fresh and intriguing” March 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th 2012, at 8pm at the Citadel Theatre, 304 Parliament Street, Toronto Two world premieres choreographed by Yvonne Ng Featuring: Zhenya Cerneacov, Mairéad Filgate, Amy Hampton, Meredith Thompson, Brendan Wyatt Original music by Erin Donovan Lighting Design by Rebecca Picherack and Simon Rossiter Sound Design by John D.S.
