Description
Sulong Theatre, in partnership with Brave New Girls Retreats, The People Project and Glad Day Bookshop are serving up an 8 performance run of Eating with Lola directed by The Puppetmongers' Ann Powell. This special run of the critically acclaimed play will raise funds for Brave New Girls Retreats, which hosts quarterly retreats for diverse queer femmes of colour from across Turtle Island. Hosted by renowned activist and community organizer Kim Katrin Crosby in various locations, the focus of these intimate retreats is to provide a safe space in which these beings can share skills, self care, discuss issues, meditate and heal from trauma.
