Roy Thomson Hall
A Gift of Music: 75 Years of Song is a benefit concert for St. Michael’s Choir School headlining internationally-renowned alumni artists operatic superstar Michael Schade, jazz vocalist Matt Dusk, musician Kevin Hearn of The Barenaked Ladies, tenor Michael Colvin, bass baritone Stephen Hegedus, celtic musician James McKie, singer songwriter Michael O'Grady, organist Paolo Bordignon and other special guests. Artistic direction by alumnus Andrew Craig, A Gift of Music will be a rare experience of musical diversity in the splendour of Roy Thomson Hall. Jazz vocalist and broadcasting celebrity Heather Bambrick and school alumnus Jim Codrington will host the gala celebrating the School’s 75th anniversary. All funds raised will be used to support bursaries and scholarships for the continuation of the school’s musical program and aspiring musicians of tomorrow.
