No! More! Ennui!
Who fucking cares. It's a god-damned rainbow flag, and they're all over the place. We're too invested in symbols and all this rainbow shit. It's just become another mega-geeky event where camera-fucking politicians gather around and have their pictures taken with cardigan-wearing members of MCC who crow on endlessly about equal marriage and respect and blah blah blah...boring as hell. I would rather stand barefoot in a lake of flaming vomit while gagging on Stephen Harper's cock with razor blades shoved up my ass than attend one more of the nerd-a-thons listing to some off-key gay chorus singing "We are the gay and lesbian pee-eee-pul, and we're fighting, fighting for our lives." Kill me now.

understatement and sugar coating of gay pride
The powerfully dripping with venom letter above perhaps understates the importance of well-worn cliches, emotional pablum and gay positive symbols in many of our I am a proud gay lives. NEXT TIME OVER IT DON'T SUGAR COAT IT & SAY WHAT YOU REALLY THINK OF PRIDE WEEK CEREMONIES!
