Description
No Cure for This Condition: collected works by G. Elliott Simpson. The show opens Friday Jan. 25th and runs through till the 31st. “For some these images are a metaphor for physical alienation in the cyber-age; for others the work is a physical representation of the virus that has been such an integral part of gay mens’ identity for the last thirty years; for still others it’s a profane commentary on the influence of religion in classic western art. Having know Geoff for years now, I know there’s truth in all these interpretations, but the true essence of his work lies somewhere deeper…” From the Short Film “Modelled”, by Don Bapst.
