Description

The Ottawa Rideau Speedeaus is a swim team with a difference. It is primarily a gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans team. We also welcome members from the straight community. Our main purpose is to help members reach their swimming goals, be they for competition, recreation or fitness. We again this year, offer our Learn-to-Swim program. The classes will be held at the University of Ottawa pool, Montpetit Hall. The program consists of 9 classes starting Wednesday, February 27, 2013. The regular fee $90, students $55.00 (includes MSO fee of $35). The program is for those who don't feel ready to attend regular practices, or who want to learn or improve their techniques and strokes. C'est principalement un club destiné au gais, lesbiennes, bisexuels et transgenres, où les hétéros sont aussi les bienvenues. Notre raison d'être est d'aider nos membres à atteindre leurs objectifs en natation, qu'ils soient de nature compétitive, de mise en forme ou tout simplement à des fins recréatives. Cette année, nous offrons à nouveau, le programme Apprendre à Nager. La session de l'automne débutera le 27 février prochain, de 18 à 19 heures et aura lieu à la piscine de l'Université d'Ottawa, Pavillon Montpetit. La durée est de 9 semaines. Les frais réguliers sont de $90, et $55 pour étudiants (comprend le frais MSO de 35$). Le programme Apprendre à Nager, s'adresse à ceux et celles qui veulent apprendre à nager et à ceux et celles qui ne se voient pas prêts à participer aux pratiques régulières mais qui désirent améliorer leur technique.
