Dyke March Ottawa
The Ottawa Dyke March is an annual grassroots initiative organized by a small group of women who are committed to providing a welcoming and fun space for queer women, their families, friends and allies. This annual event is an opportunity for women to participate in a grassroots initiative that celebrates lesbian, bisexual, queer and trans women. Our message is explicit: ”We stand up for women's rights, we oppose racism and discrimination in any form, and we encourage women to stand up for their rights.” Our theme for 2009 is "Public Display of Affection". Join us on August 29 at 1:00 pm and help make it happen!
