WINNIPEG FIRE. The locker room of Aquarius Bath. Two people are dead after a fire broke out at the Winnipeg bathhouse on Oct 11.

Two people are dead in Winnipeg after a fire broke out at one of the city's bathhouses.

Aquarius Bath, at 457 Notre Dame Ave, caught fire at 7am Sunday morning. Police are calling the blaze "suspicious" and arson investigators are on the scene. No victims have been publicly identified.

Aquarius Bath is one of two bathhouses in Winnipeg, the other one being Adonis Spa at 1060 Main St.

I was at the club the week before and complained to the staff 4 to 5 times about smoking in the club whats to say someone spilled a bottle of poppers and then lit a smoke it would look like a fuel was used, thanks. of course they saw people exiting the doors of the building it was on fire still don,t understand why there were not basic smoke alarms on each floor and fire ext. and most clubs staff should have to cover each floor every 15 min thanks
