More gay porn banned by Canada's border agency
CENSORSHIP / Watersports film threatens society's "proper functioning": CBSA

NANNY STATE. Pornstar Damien Crosse on the cover of Raging Stallion's Piss Off. The film was recently deemed "obscene" by the Canada Border Services Agency.
Pornstar Damien Crosse once said that if the afterlife involves reincarnation, he hopes to come back as a urinal. He loves piss that much.

But even though Crosse loves watersports, the Canada Border Services Agency won't let one of his recent films into the country. Raging Stallion Studio's fetish flick Piss Off was recently deemed to be "obscene" by Canada's border censors.

That's because CBSA says the "ingestion of someone else's urine... with a sexual purpose" is an indicator of obscenity. Even if it's consensual.

The border agency considers the act of urinating into someone "degrading and dehumanizing, with a risk of substantial harm."

"Harm", by CBSA's terms, isn't even about whether piss is bad for you. Instead, "Harm in this context means that the material predisposes persons to act in an anti-social manner; in other words, in a manner which society recognizes as incompatible with its proper functioning."

Anti-social manner? Society's proper functioning? Why is porn held to Victorian-era morality standards?

Piss Off is just the latest in a string of gay films — pornographic and PG-rated — that have faced barriers at the Canadian border. In CBSA's latest quarterly list of prohibited items (PDF), the agency also banned the Titan Media film Shock Treatment, among dozens of other DVDS and books.

So what's a Canadian piss pig to do? You could order a physical copy of Piss Off from an international seller — it might come through, it might not.

You could check out your local sex shop — they may have been able to get a shipment through without being seized at the border. Priape's website says its Toronto and Calgary stores have the video in stock, as of Dec 17.

Your best bet: watch the video on a pay-per-view porn site. That's what we did — and it was hot.

Piss Off features some big names in gay porn: Crosse, Francois Sagat, Steve Tanner, Steve Cruz, Manuel DeBoxer and Damian Rios.

These guys piss so clear, you could be forgiven for thinking it's actually water. For the most part, they catch each other's piss in their mouths and then spit it back out, rather than drinking it.

The film opens with Steve Cruz and Damien Crosse getting wet in the shower. Crosse bends down in front of Cruz's hard-on, smiling as Cruz unleashes a torrent of piss. Crosse eagerly catches it with his mouth and spits it back at Cruz.

Cruz then bends over and spreads his ass cheeks, as Crosse pisses on his hole and proceeds to rim him. They suck each other and jerk off to completion.

So far, nothing very shocking for anyone who watches a lot of gay porn!

In the second scene, we see hunky Francois Sagat on a rooftop in the heart of a city. He briefly looks around to see if anybody is watching, but he wastes no time peeling off his shirt to reveal his sculpted chest. He takes off his white undies, revealing his thick uncut cock and some heavy tanlines.

If watersports were an Olympic event, Sagat would be a gold medal contender. He pisses in his face while standing up, soaking the hair on his chest. His torso and thighs shimmer with piss.

He pisses once, twice, three times... I lose count. Sagat finishes himself off.

The third scene takes place at a campsite with two tents, three hot guys and a cooler full of beer. (And as any good piss piggy knows, beer and water are great for diluting the fragrance of urine.)

The three guys suck and piss on each other, and Scott Tanner plugs both Damian Rios and Manuel DeBoxer with his thick cut cock. The scene ends with cum flying everywhere and a lovely group kiss.

This is what's threatening the "proper functioning" of society?

In the fourth and final scene, Crosse, Rios and DeBoxer return for some fun in what looks like a furnace/backroom. Piss slut Crosse gets on his knees and eagerly catches his partners' urine. There's more sucking, fucking and pissing.

They all look like they're having a good time. What's so obscene about that?

time to get rid of obscenity laws
In this day and age in Canada it seems ridiculous that we should still have any obscenity laws on the books at all, its about time they be gotten rid of. Obscenity is harmless, if an illegal activity is filmed happening then charge the producers with whatever illegal activity it was filmed. Personally I would only draw the line at child porn and realistic depictions of rape for a sexual purpose since in the case of child porn its filming an illegal activity and in the case of realistic depictions of rape it could contribute to rape in real life by someone who fantasizes about raping others. I can't think of any other instance where any legitimate case at all could be made for banning any sexual activity between consenting adults. Even then I think the censors need to be very careful, I've seen rape fantasy videos where its obvious both parties are willing participants which I would consider unrealistic depictions of rape and I don't believe filming a consenting 16 or 17 year old having sex should be considered child porn though I know its illegal, if it is to remain illegal it should be called something else more reflective of the reality of the situation. The point being though is that its ridiculous that we have agencies deciding what is and what is not acceptable sexual activity between consenting adults and that's just wrong.

Thinking
Honestly, it boggles my mind, some of the things people do in terms of sexual expression. I guess I'm a bit of a prude, but given my gender and age (post 50)you might want to forgive me. I have no problem with what you do with your partner in the privacy of 'your' home. However, promoting it via film is another matter, for it is an unsafe behavior. Do we want to see young people acting this out, because they saw it in the movie and then go home with someone 'hot' that they just met? So, if you feel so inclined and are sure it is safe with the person you are with, go for it. I'm not sending the moral police after you. I just worry how we role model for our young community members. I'm just asking.

Disgusting
Yuck. Why are so many gay men degenerates. Major mental illlnes plagues gay men. But as long as its between consenting adults the government shouldn`t be censoring. BUT children need to be protected from this filth so these websites should be accessed only by credit card.

Ron is an idiot
I'm a gay man, but definitely not into piss. And even though I'm not into it, I think people that are should be able to purchase the movie if they want. I'm a gay man, but definitely not into straight sex. And even though I'm not into it, I think people that are should be able to purchase the movie if they want. Funny how this works. So let's make a deal. Canada, let's do a swap. You guys seem to be cool about most things except your border morons and ron. Let's swap. Let's send them to the United States of Jesusland and I'll come to Canada. Hell, I'll even piss on ron if you let me come there.

King Damien
Crosse is such a great, gay porn star because he will do anything on film. I believe he has a very active sexual imagination. That's lucky for us.

Chill out!
This isn't my thing but let people watch what they want in the privacy of their homes. I thought that we were way past banning videos and images like this, what year is it?

What about the CHILDREN?
It's amazing that with all its social advances, Canada still exercises arbitrary censorship at the border. I remember when this threatened to put G/L booksellers out of business, because border censure was used as harassment by homophobes in those positions. It's stunning to hear that films from the U.S. festival circuit have been stopped on the way to Canadian film festivals. And adult-only porn still gets stopped at the border. Thank gawd I can still see hot young Canadian boys in Toronto and Montreal on stage fully nude, fully erect, jerking off and getting sucked off by patrons.

Have these agents seen str8 porn and how degrading some of it is towards women? Pissing is mild in comparison. Oh, ya, that's str8s doing it. Nevermind.

the thought police are out again...
Me thinks that Stephen Harper is only banning this because he wants to be the only one with a copy.
