New Westminster, BC’s oldest city, staged its first ever Pride Week.

Gay resident Vance McFadyen, supported by his partner, Curt Higham, and several straight allies, successfully lobbied New Westminster’s city council on Jan 25 to have a Pride proclaimed in the city. (Read more about the lead-up to this year's Pride)

I love pride. Its so much fun. I enjoy the floats. I especially like the drag queens. They are so much fun. I used to sing at the Dufferin or the back door club back in the day. I was a karaoke superstar. PRIDE PRIDE.

Pride
I like leather chaps too. I normally use my swing at home. I enjoy a good scat party now and than. I also like to have golden showers in the morning. PRIDE PRIDE PRIDE. SING IT WITH ME. Golden showers, and scat, are so much fun at pride!
