The World Outgames wrapped up in Copenhagen leaving a high bar for the Olympics and future Outgames. Canada placed fifth in the overall medal count.
"The Olympics shies away from its political and its academic responsibilities — the Outgames embraces them," former NBA player John Amaechi told Xtra.ca at the Outgames.
