Be proud and active!
Hi - Thank you so much for sharing this; it's very important to hear our elected officials speak from the heart - with Pride - on these issues. While there's always a need for improvement regarding issues affecting GLBT persons, we are fortunate for what we do have. By the way, it's the International Day against Homophobia and *Transphobia* (http://idahomophobia.org/wp/) As a smaller, visible and generally misunderstood group, we - the transgender - are especially vulnerable, and among the first to suffer when programs are cut. Sincerely, Victoria Stuart Chair, Trans Alliance Society
