Trans Bodies Trans Selves Montreal
All trans* identified people, as well as their close friends, family members and allies, are invited to attend a discussion forum. This forum is a part of the Trans Bodies Trans Selves book project, which aims to create an inclusive trans resource guide. The authors are committed to base their writing and reviewing on the voices of trans people across North America. Discussion forums are being held in several cities across the continent to give a space to trans people to have their voices heard!
We will have a forum of our own in Montreal on Monday, November 21 from 7PM to 10PM at Centre St-Pierre, 1212 Panet Street.
This is a free event.
-Refreshments will be provided.
-The centre is fully accessible to people with mobility issues.
-Public transit fares will be provided to those who need them.
-Whisper translation will be available in French, English and Spanish.
-Child care will be available with 48 hour notice.
-ASL or LSQ translation will be available with 48 hour notice.
-A buddy system will be available for people who need support.
*This event is inclusive of all trans identities and ways of being.
