Alberta Rockies Gay Rodeo Association (ARGRA)
ARGRA is a volunteer organization that produces the annual Canadian Rockies International Rodeo, a summer event that is sanctioned rodeo event by the International Gay Rodeo Association. Hundreds of contestants vie for rodeo prize money, and thousands come to watch the rodeo and participate in the weekend’s other events, dinners and dances – many camp on site. In addition, ARGRA hosts several fundraising dances throughout the year.
