Mr. Gay Canada Darren Bruce Top 30 Under 30

For those of you looking for the full interview with vampire erotica writer Todd Greggory, check back tomorrow.

In the meantime, the North Shore Outlook voted Vancouver's Darren Bruce (Mr. Gay Canada) as one of its Top 30 Under 30. Pretty awesome. For those of you who thought this was just a pagent, get real. The title helped transform Darren into a vocal queer rights advocate and lead to him playing an integral part in outreach by the Health Iniative for Men.

Congratulations, Darren!

Read the full article here. An excerpt to get you interested:

After a smouldering contest in Whistler last year he won the title of Mr. Gay Canada. There were some kudos for his showing in the swimsuit competition, but more importantly 26-year-old Darren Bruce took on the role of national spokesperson, activist and advocate when he accepted the title. The Argyle grad served his one-year term, and since the next competition won’t be until next spring or summer, he’ll hang on to the crown and attendant responsibilities for another six or eight months...

Don't worry, we didn't even think it was a beauty pageant. The winner from Ireland was absolutely disgusting. I'm not really surprised though, another lame winner, at a lame event, done by a lame producer. I can't wait for The Ultimate Fag Hag competition! That's going to be another top notch event. GAG ME

Time for me to get on my high horse: I'm ashamed to even read comments like Michael's. Put your name out there and run for Mr. Gay Canada, buddy. They're currently accepting applications. I watched the competition from start to finish and met the Mr World delegates in Whistler this spring. It ain't easy. I've also seen the work that Darren's done with HIM and you should be proud that someone in your community has enough balls to step out internationally, identify himself as gay and try to make positive change that benefits all of us.

Thanks for re-posting this Sean. We are all very proud of Darren and the work he's done as Mr. Gay Canada.
Regards to negative feedback, all these folk really have done (besides seem to have lots of time to only be negative) is made my VPD file quite thick! :)
Always,
Terry Costa

Just as America attempted to discount civil rights for blacks in the 1960's, it has negated the same rights for homosexuals to this date. However, it is too late. The tide has turned against the fascists. All minorities who have struggled for equality should support the gay movement. That's how America should work. The world is watching.

This information is awesome! I mean, like you, I’m pretty much skeptical of stretch mark creams but have read about many wonderful testimonials about different products. Which kinda got me interested in them as a stretch mark prevention tool. Will definitely check on this product range you’ve mentioned here.

Reminds me - I had better update some of the essential skills of my own life too - the world is becoming too challenging if nothing else.

Hello, A <a href="http://www.jumbobay.com/items/home~garden/bathroom-sanctuary/list.htm”>Bathroom Santuary</a> is a room that may have different functions depending on the culturalist context. In the most literal sense, the word <a href="”">b</a><a href=”http://www.jumbobay.com/items/home~garden/bathroom-sanctuary/list.htm”>athroom</a> means "a room with a bath". Because the traditional <a href=”http://www.jumbobay.com/items/home~garden/bathroom-sanctuary/Terrazzo-Bath-Tub-JST4735-detail.htm”>bathtub</a> have partly made way for modern showers, including <a href=”http://www.jumbobay.com/items/home~garden/bathroom-sanctuary/list.htm”>steam showers</a> the more general definition is "a room where one <a href=”http://www.jumbobay.com/items/home~garden/bathroom-sanctuary/list.htm”>bathes</a>". There can be just a shower, just a bathtub or both; and often both plumbing fixtures are combined in the bathtub. The room may also contain a <a href=”http://www.jumbobay.com/items/home~garden/bathroom-sanctuary/list.htm”>sink</a> often called a "wash basin" or "hand basin" and often a "<a href=”http://www.jumbobay.com/items/home~garden/bathroom-sanctuary/list.htm”>lavatory</a>".
