It's been a tough week on Up Your Alley - so much foreskin, so little time. Which is why I want to thank Sandy for letting me know that a new Sassy Gay Friend vid has been posted. I love this guy and his colourful scarves. And I love Adam. You have made my humpday.

As yesterday's blog proves, foreskin really is a touchy subject. All six of my readers left comments, and apparently I am now part of some pro-uncut mafia. COOLAH!

Are you coming to Ryan Steele's show tonight at the Odyssey? You should. I haven't been in MONTHS and can't wait to see El Steele in all his comedic glory.

Guys with the last name Iglesias are just... you know. This Iglesias gives me more Hispanic Panic than Enrique. Yeah yeah, I know I've got a thing for Latin guys, but tattoos and longer hair and full frontals with foreskin = my new internet boyfriend. SALUD! Llamame por favor!

The highlight of my weekend was this guy:

I like to call him Dr Foreskin. Other people like to call him Glen Callender from the Canadian Foreskin Awareness Project. Look at that lab coat and his lensless glasses. If that doesn't make him a doctor, nothing does. I would trust him with life... I mean foreskin... I mean uhhhhhhh.

Anyway, at East Side Pride this past Saturday, at Grandview Park off Commercial Drive, I learned where this guy can fit nine seedless grapes. I know, right? All of that happening while Joan-E occasionally stroked my left leg and boyfriend Steve held a plastic bowl for Dr Foreskin to shoot the grapes out Thai-ping-pong-ball-sex-show style. Yeah. You get it. Waking daymare. The only thing missing was Bob Saget and a rubber fist.

Dr Foreskin is trying to change federal regulations that govern male circumcision. It's illegal in Canada for parents to circumcise their daughters. It's legal for their sons. Significant nerve loss occurs for both genders and a botched cut can result in the loss of the entire penis or even death.

So somebody back East got a little crazy yesterday and deleted some comments from Up Your Alley. Apparently spammers hit the comment section here about 10-20 times a day and Xtra's web Jesus has to go through and delete things to keep UYA clean. Fashion. Glamour. I know.

So if you're looking around for your comments about:

1) How you and your friends are going to make the best MTV reality show ever

2) My lack of talent and/or writing ability

3) Me going bald

I'm sorry to tell you they are permanently gone. Much like my hairline. ZING!

According to Queer Bash organizer Brandon Gaukel, "it looks like Syren and Raye Sunshine ki ki-ing" ... and I'd like to add, it looks like them ki ki-ing on a rainbow, which is where they regularly do it, or on the back of a unicorn, or on the back of Joan-E when they ride up Davie St on Sundays to get milk from SuperValu. 

It also sort of looks like Brandon Gaukel, doesn't it?
