Tom Ford's directorial debut is looking hot. A Single Man screened at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.
It's starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, both of whom I love Love LOVE!! The trailer acutally reminds me of a fashion advertorial. The visual aesthetic is awesome. Can't wait to see the film.
When Perez Hilton tweeted about Britney's new single today, I pretty much tossed my cookies in excitement...and then tossed them again while listening:
What do you think?

Emails. They are as hideous as they are marvellous. You can type anything. Anything you like - and then send it to someone in a matter of seconds. But we've all learned that in most cases, once you send it, you can't take it back.
It's been a while since I've done a Mister Manners session and I'd like to kick this one off with a tale: I always remember that time when I worked an office job, where I sent an email calling my immediate supervisor "an idiot who regularly confuses me for his secretary" to my immediate supervisor, instead of to my friend three offices down.
It's true. I would never have said that to his face and probably should've walked up the three offices to tell my friend in person. That whole experience taught me an important lesson. If you have something important to say, say it in person. And failing that, try using a telephone. Emails and letters install a type of forever on what you may say in the heat of a moment. Regret's a bitch. Smarten up.
So in the spirit of that and after a summer of disasterous relationships, I offer the following public service announcement for your consideration:

I love Bluntcard.com. They say all the things I think in my head and usually say outloud. Send one to your friends, family, frenemies...or all of the above...and more!
In other news, the lovely Teresa sent me this video, starring Peterson Toscano. Peterson is a quirky queer Quaker who "writes about sexuality, gender, faith, veganism and so much more!". It reminded me of the time I watched Ten Commandments and didn't get turned on at all. Yeah. Thanks. Pfft.

Maybe I have a little something-something for Shakira's new song. I may or may not have posted about it earlier this month. So what?
If I had friends with large budget and a full crew of sassy though sharp camera people, I would make humorous parodies whilst ruling Vancouver with an iron fist...like a Steven Spielberg/that oh-so-juicy Gregor Robertson hybrid. My mango nectar would be equal parts ambitious...and delicious. You heard it here first.
