Ugandan parliament reportedly adjourns, no action on anti-gay bill

BY NATASHA BARSOTTI — News coming out of Uganda indicates that the country's parliament will adjourn today, Dec 14, without action on the anti-homosexuality bill.

Ugandan gay rights activist Frank Mugisha tweeted the news, noting that parliament will adjourn until February 2013.

The website wthrockmorton.com includes a link to the Dec 14 parliamentary order paper that lists the anti-homosexuality bill in the "notice of business to follow" section at item seven.
