TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL: An Intro to Gender Advocacy & Organizing

As a self-professed gay TV addict, I am thrilled to know that a new show about lesbians will air on Showtime on June 5. The LA womyns are based on characters from the L Word, and mostly well-manicured ones. But alas! Beggars can't be choosy as this is the only program featuring all lesbians on it.

First it was the 50th anniversary of the "pill" and Gloria Steinem went on some 'Merican show and made a nice joke about the femanisms. It was very nice. THEN, I got notice of this zine publication take-over-the-world kind of thing. Another nicie. The one with the eyes closed used to own Revolution Montreal bike shop, now known as Bikurious on Amherst.
